Forming, Welding, and Assembly

With material cut to spec, the fabrication process moves into shaping and joining. Depending on the structure, this can mean bending, punching, or forming steel into the required profiles, followed by welding to join components into a single, rigid assembly. This is where trained welders make the difference between a structure that’s technically assembled and one that’s genuinely load-rated — full penetration on structural joints, consistent bead quality, and welds placed where they actually carry stress rather than just where they’re convenient.

Every structural weld matters more than a cosmetic one. A railing weld that’s slightly under-filled might just look rough. A structural weld with the same flaw is a failure point waiting for enough load or enough time.

Finishing for the Long Haul

Structural steel that’s going to be exposed to weather, moisture, or heavy use needs a finish that protects it, not just one that looks good on delivery day.
